January 2020

Hello and a quick update on what's been happening over the last couple of weeks.  I'm delighted to confirm that I have a venue in Cranleigh at the Youth Club in Snoxhall Fields just behind the leisure centre.  I'll be running classes on Saturday mornings for dogs of all ages.  It does feel like I have a home base at last!

Currently, I'm running a Teenage Tearaway class at 10.30am to help you get through the "Kevin and Perry" stage after puppy classes.  Just gives you a chance to tweak those few issues before they get too set in.  Dogs over six months are welcome to join the class which will run on a rolling basis.  You pay for four sessions initially but then you get to take them when you want within a three month period.  So if you have to miss a class you can come along to the next one without losing a session.  It's going to include some basic training but also a social environment for you and your dogs.

The Good Citizen Bronze class remains popular and I'm running the last one at Stoneleigh, so if you want to get on the list for Cranleigh let me know as soon as possible as the classes do fill up quickly.  A chance to show off your dog's good behaviour!

I'll also be working with The Walkabout Group on some projects too - collaborating with Carol and Stuart who set me on the road to dog training all those years ago with Bertie.  It's going to be fun!

The Small Dog Social Group is now up and running on Facebook and I'm planning to do some social sessions at Smithbrook Kilns (weather permitting) which will give small dogs and their owners the chance to work on loose lead walking as well as social behaviour.  Coffee at Bricks Restaurant after the session will be included in the ticket price and you get to ask me about any particular concerns you may have.

Finally, I'm working with Yew Tree Vets to develop a monthly puppy preschool drop in session.  Ideal for first time owners or even experienced owners who want to "pupgrade" their skills.

See you all soon,

Sara.
