Here we are at the end of March and today it’s been four seasons in one day! Once again it’s been a busy month for me and the dogs. Today I was interviewed on B Radio in Farnborough about my work as a dog trainer. It was fun to be in the studio and as soon as I get a copy I’ll put it on the website for you to listen to.
Two more exciting bits of news were that I finally completed and passed my Foundation Diploma in Canine Behaviour Management and I also got a nomination for the KCAI Dog Trainer of the Year! I was so delighted to be nominated, so thank you to whoever put me forward!
The Good Citizen classes have taken off with the May course already having bookings and a waiting list for the next course after that. I will also be running a Silver class as soon as I have the numbers. The hall at Alfold is really easy to get to and works well as a venue. Best of all on a Tuesday evening when the classes are running there’s a wood fired pizza truck so I can pick up my weekly treat after the class!
Finally, Rupert, Poppy, Kathy and I headed up to Crufts in Birmingham and it was a wonderful day again but very full on. Although Rupert didn’t get placed, he did get a round of applause and showed off like a professional. I was so proud! Kathy and Poppy did get placed and it was a great way for her to retire from Crufts at 11 years old. And yes, I did some shopping too!
Stay warm and hopefully we will get a bit more sunshine!
Sara, Edie and Rupert
PS. In the next few weeks my website is being migrated over to a new platform to make it easier for me to update the site and send out emails so instead of using Mailchimp my next email to everyone will be via Squarespace.
