Reward Dog Training

May 2021

Dear All,

It has been the wettest May I can remember for a long time and I hope your dogs have had a chance to get out when the sun did make an appearance.  Rupert and Edie hate getting wet so they had to use their coats but we did have a lovely visit to Newlands Corner where they got a chance to run around and stretch their legs.

The social sessions in April seemed to go really well even though we had a last minute venue change and it was so lovely to see the pups and the teenagers actually working together in Snoxhall Fields with all the football, children and other dogs as distractions.

Unfortunately, this month’s sessions have been difficult to organise the sessions as the A281 has been scheduled to close last weekend (it didn’t happen) for resurfacing.  That has now been put back to Sunday 31st May for a whole week but may last longer.  Who knows!

The reason it’s such a problem is that I have an agreement to run the social sessions here at Smithbrook Kilns.  And because I can run larger classes too, I am going to do just one session each Saturday at 11am.  You and your dog can come along and learn to be social with people and other dogs of all ages and sizes.  So I’m delighted to confirm that as from July I’m launching the Cranleigh Canine Social Club!   More details to follow.

Finally, I’m having a stall at the Cranleigh Carnival on 26th June 2021.  It will be lovely to see lots of people again and please do pop by to say hello.

Have a lovely bank holiday weekend and hope to see you all soon.

Sara, Edie and Rupert.
